Job Role

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in the SAP Basis support tasks supporting customer SAP Basis infrastructures based on customer requirements and NTT service definitions.
  • Responsible for the execution and measurement of effective internal service level agreements based on the SDM (Service Delivery Managers)/SM (Service Managers) requirements.
  • Responsible for SAP Basis Team support ticket management (Gatekeeper).
  • Responsible for SAP Basis scheduled tasks like SAP Basis Checklist reviews and SAP EWA report analysis.
  • Responsible for SAP Basis scheduled tasks like SAP Basis Checklist reviews and SAP EWA report analysis. Responsible for correct system monitoring and alert processing.
  • Technical SAP Basis Administration of the supported platforms.
  • Ensures effective security, operation and performance of SAP environments.
  • Responsible for executing standard runbooks and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with policy and procedures affecting computing technology. Helps in the implementation of SAP Basis projects plans following planned schedule, ensuring the quality of the deliverables.
  • Creates runbooks to be executed by NTT MS Operations Center following NTT MS Standards. Responsible to ensure correct connectivity and support for all the supported platforms.
  • Participates in supporting projects based in their technical skill and following Tier 2 and Tier 3 requirements.
  • Availability to perform on-call duties outside business hours.
  • Availability to perform interventions outside business hours.

Skills & Requirements


  • SAP Basis Administration (User administration, RFCs, Dump first analysis and classification, User management, Start and Stop SAP Systems, basic SAP architecture knowledge, Job management, OSS notes administration …).
  • Medium knowledge in one or more of the following Operating Systems and Databases - (Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux or Unix (preferably Linux, Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, HANA, or Sybase ASE, preferably HANA).
  • Knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of high-available and mission-critical terminology and technologies will be considered
